PORTLAND, Ind.--Zina I. Adamson, 88, former Jay County resident, died Thursday in New Port Richey, Fla., following an extended illness.
She was born in Jay County, graduated from Portland High School and spent most of her life in that area before moving to New Port Richey two years ago.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Hagerstown.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Macdonald, and a son, Ora A. Adamson, both of New Port Richey; a sister, Violet Bickel, Portland; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. in Elm Ridge Mausoleum, Muncie. Entombment will follow. Calling will be 30 minutes before services at the mausoleum. Meeks Mortuary of Muncie is in charge of arrangements.
