Mrs. Betty Jean Owen, age 88, of Coatesville, passed away December 16, 2015 in the Hendricks Regional Hospital. Born August 22, 1927 in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Schuyler Arnold and Sadie F. (O’Neal) Arnold. She married Richard Dorn Owen and he passed away April 13, 2015. Betty was a Homemaker and a member of the Stilesville Christian Church. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening and canning. She had a heart of gold. Survivors includes 2 sons, Edd (Becky) Owen, and Richard (Sandy) Owen; a daughter Melanie (Steve) Champion; grandchildren, Suzy (Reecy) Dancer, Cheri (Chip) Ridge, Genny Owen, Tracey (Josh) Hesselgrave, Jeremy (Nicole) Owen, Michael (Ramona) Jarvis, Jacob (Stacey) Champion; Joshua Champion, Lauren Champion, and Miranda Champion; 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Her husband, parents, and 3 brothers, John, Ronald and Ralph Arnold preceded her in death.
