Daughter of John and Sarah Cavanaugh Mangan. She lived in Lambertville all of her life.
She married Edward Meskill at St. John's R. C. Church on December 2, 1933. Her brother, Rev. James Mangan, who had been recently ordained to the priesthood and who celebrated his first mass in Lambertville the previous September, performed the ceremony. Miss Elizabeth Meskill was her bridesmaid and Robert Mangan was groomsman. They motored to Virginia and upon their return lived at the home of the bride's father, John V. Mangan, on Delaware avenue.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She served for many years as the church's secretary.
Her husband, Edward Meskill, predeceased her.
She was survived by a son in Lambertville; two daughters in Lambertville; a brother, John Mangan of Lake Worth, Fla; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her wedding announcement was published in the Lambertville Beacon on December 7, 1933 and her obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on January 15, 1998.
