GREENSBORO PERRY CHARLES CRABTREE, 90, PASSED away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Perry was born on August 7, 1925 in Dover, Maine, the son of Talmadge D. and Abby Dickie Crabtree of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a medic in North Africa. Following his military service, he came to North Carolina and made his home here. He was known for his generosity and kindness by everyone who he met. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.Perry was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Elliott and infant son Stephen Perry and one step-son, Wayne. In time, he met and married Dolly Armfield of Greensboro and enjoyed a 40-year plus marriage. (Greensboro News-Record)
