Mt. Crawford - Aug. 31 - Amos Bowers and Miss Eliza Waggy, of Sugar Grove, were married in Washington, D C., Tuesday, the 23rd and arrived here yesterday afternoon, the guests of A. Shutters. Mr. and Mrs. Bowers left this morning for Staunton and will return tomorrow.

John Bowers received a message Sunday from Sugar Grove, stating that his brother, Amos Bowers had died suddenly, having been paralyzed. Mr.-Bowers went to Sugar Grove yesterday, to attend the funeral.
