Loyce C. Taylor, 85, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, in Denver, Colo. A graveside service was held Sunday, May 28, 2006, at Pioneer Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at the Morningside Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Black of Graham officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 19, 1921, in Wichita Falls. She was a lifelong member of Morningside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a nurse for 10 years and retired from Hexcel Corp. as a shipping clerk.

She is survived by one son, Randall Hazelton and wife Mary Aline; two daughters, Bonnie Beasley and husband J.C. and Velda Black and husband the Rev. Kenneth, all of Graham; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Hazelton and Patsy Boyle, both of Graham; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Carter; and one sister Claudie Proctor.
