MRS. W. H. PICKETT BURIED AT S'WATER

Sweetwater, Sept. 6 - Funeral was held Friday morning at Wells Chapel for Mrs. W. H. Pickett, 63 who died early Thursday at Sweetwater Hospital.

Born in Sulphur Springs in 1883, Mrs. Pickett moved to Fisher County in 1888. She was married there to John Lewis Hubbard in 1899. After his death, she married W. H. Pickett in 1928.

Surviving children, all by her first husband, are Mrs. Guyon Davis of Roby, Mrs. Bob Weathersby of Sweetwater, Mrs. R. L. Hunter of Santa Fe, N.M., Mrs. Joe Boyd of Midland and Russell Hubbard of Sweetwater. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Charles Pickett of Camas, Oregon; two brothers, Eli Coker and Everett Coker, both of Roby; four grandchildren, Mrs. Barney Bookout of Hartshorne, Okla., G. Mac Davis and Guyana Neeves, both of Roby, and Dewey Neal Hubbard of Sweetwater.

F. B. Shepherd, minister of the Church of Christ, officiated for the funeral. Burial was in the Sweetwater Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home.
