Sweetwater - Lawrence Henington, 87, died Wednesday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cate-Spencer & Gallagher Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.
Mr. Henington was born in Bell County. He had been a crane operator for U. S. Gypsum Co. for the last 25 years and was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Childers Henington of Sweetwater; two daughters, Joyce Alldredge of Sweetwater and Lynda Kelley of Brownwood; two sisters, Annie Carey of Sweetwater and Leta Mae Smith of Fort Worth; two brothers, Eli Henington and Cleo Henington, both of Longworth; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
