Lex Arnold, 76, of Franklin, died Tuesday, Mach 2, in Angel Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Macon County, the son of the late Oscar and Julia Crisp Arnold, and was married for 52 years to Helen Frye Arnold, who survives. He was a retired service station owner and operator.
Services were held Thursday, March 4, in Bryant Funeral Home Chapel and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The Revs. Guy Duvall and Bill Wooten officiated and pallbearers were Charles Roper, Floyd Burns, Allen Jones, Guy Grant, Edwin Grant, and Harold Huscusson.
He is also survived by a daughter, Patsy A. Breedlove, of Franklin; one brother, Fred Arnold, of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Wiley Clark, Mrs. Roxie Womack and Mrs. Leonard Holland, all of Franklin; and two grandsons, Mike and Joe Breedlove, both of Franklin.
