Edwardsville--Edith Blackburn, 78, a former Edwardsville resident until moving to Normal, Ill., died Saturday at Pontiac where she had been a nursing home patient the past five years.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Quercus Grove Cemetery by the Rev. Carl Bennett, pastor of First Presbyterian Church here. Weber Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
Born Oct. 22, 1894, a daughter of the late John and Madora Barnett Blackburn, she is survived by two brothers and a sister, W.W. Blackburn of Edwardsville, John Blackburn, Payette, Ida., and Mrs. Florence Hess, Eugene, Ore.
