Mrs. Bertha Fletcher

OREGON - Mrs. Bertha Fletcher, 75, lifelong Dane County resident, died Friday in a Madison hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Fletcher was born in Belleville and lived in Oregon for many years before moving recently to Verona. She was married in 1904 to William Fletcher, who died in 1935.

She was a member of Memorial Baptist church, Verona.

Surviving are two sons, Elmer of Oregon and Wilmer of Verona; three brothers, Erwin Best, Kiona, Oklahoma, Harry of Brooklyn, and Laverne of Madison; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Memorial Baptist church, Verona, with the Rev. William F. Harris officiating. Burial in the East Dayton cemetery. Booth funeral home, Oregon, assisted the family.
