OBIT: Services for Mrs. Bessie Irene Redman, 67, of Bethel, who died Sunday (Aug. 15, 1971) at 8:30 p.m. in Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethany Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth Moore will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The Musgrove-Coder Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Redman was born in Marion County Oct. 14, 1903, a daughter of Chancellor and Julia Mae Wolfe Brower. She married Carl Redman Nov. 23, 1923. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.
Surviving are the husband; five daughters, Zella Mae Redman at home, Mrs. Nellie Maude White of Trenton, Mrs. Bessie Marie Bevill of Ewing, Mrs. Mildred Jane Roberts of Bethel and Mrs. Rosalie Goings of Green Rock, Ill.; a son, Carl Wayne Redman of Hannibal; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Goodwn of Quincy, 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
