Rosa Lee Rankin, 88, of Catlett, died Oct. 24, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 2, 1927, in Nokesville, to the late George Wiley and Alverta Early Beahm.
Mrs. Rankin was a member of Midland Church of the Brethren and often played the organ and piano at church, as she loved music. She was a teacher and most recently retired from the Fauquier County Public Schools.
Her husband, William A. Rankin; her siblings, Cora Beahm, Early Beahm, Ralph Beahm, Charles Beahm, Ella Beahm and Hazel Bucher, and a grandson, Tyler Rankin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Dale W. Rankin and his wife Yvonne or Warrenton, Kent B. Rankin and his wife Tracy of Bealeton and Scott R. Rankin and his wife Kimberly of Front Royal; her brother, Robert Beahm of Nokesville, and her grandchildren, Whitney Rankin, Meredyth Rankin, Evan Rankin, Emily Rankin, Jacklyn Rankin, Rachel Rankin and Clayton Rankin.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Midland Church of the Brethren. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
