Henry Early Beahm, 93, of CC, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 1998. He was the eldest son of the late George and Alverta Early Beahm. He was born in Nokesville August 6, 1904.

Mr. Beahm received his high school education at Hebron Seminary and pursued his further education at Bridgewater college. He was a graduate from that institution in 1929. After teaching in Rockingham county for five years, he decided to try another career. He then entered the postal transportation service in 1936 and remained there until retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Drewry Hood Beahm, formerly of Norfolk. Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Zimmerman and husband, Richard, of Staunton, Lynne Westenfelder of Springfield; two grandchildren, Julie Zimmerman of Staunton, and Scott Zimmerman of Charlotte, N.C.; brothers and sisters, Ralph, of Staunton, Charles, of Roanoke, Robert, of Nokesville, Hazel Bucher and Ella Beahm of Roanoke, and Rosa Lee Rankin of Catlett.

Mr. Beahm was a faithful member of the Summerdean Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 1998, at Oakey's North Chapel with Rev. Owen Stultz officiating. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1998, at National Memorial Park, Falls Church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Oakey's North Chapel.
