Edgar Jerome, 64, husband of Mrs. Gertrude Jerome, 38 1/2 Martin St., died last night, Feb. 4, 1950, in an Ogdensburg hospital where he had been a patient for seven years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at Sacred Heart Church and the body will be placed in the vault at Calvary Cemetery to await burial.
The body will remain at Phillip Memorial Home until services are held.
Mr. Jerome was born June 4, 1886 in Waddington, a son of John and Marv Lockwood Jerome. He lived in Waddington and Massena most of his life, coming to Massena about 36 years ago where he was employed by the village for a time.
In 1906 he married Miss Gertrude Smith in a ceremony performed in Waddington. They moved to Massena to make their home in 1915.
Surviving are six children, Leo, San Francisco; Jeston, Winthrop Rd,; Clarence, River Rd.; Everett, Center St.; Mrs. Emma Jean Murray, Martin St.; and Mrs. Rita Henry, Cook St. Also surviving ere 12 grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews and one half-sister, Mrs. Hettie Strobeck, Potsdam.
