Millard D. Greene, 83, Indianapolis, died Wednes-day at Avon Healthcare of Hendricks County, Danville.

Born Jan. 31, 1920 in Cubage, Ky., he was the son of Lewis G. and Rhoda Catherine (Gibbons) Greene.

He was a retired stockman with Conrail in Indianapolis.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Law and husband Gary, Indianapolis, Sue Pemberton and husband Tom, Sterling Heights, Mich., and Anna Gibson, Martinsville; three sons, Carl Greene and wife Verna, Greenwood, Orby Greene and wife Linda, Cloverdale, and Leon Green and wife Frankie, Andersonville, Tenn.; three sisters, Dorothy Muncy, Indianapolis, Mary Watkins, Quincy, and Lois Kimley, Ferndale, Wash.; two brothers, William P. Greene and wife Anna, Cloverdale, and Lewis G. Greene and wife Janet, Celina, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Caroline Shoopman, and two brothers, Donald V. Greene and Martin G. Greene.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with burial in Mannan Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
