Martha is the daughter of Benjamin (Marion) Clark Thomas and Sarah Ellen Sharp Mowrey. she married Josephus Hatch, March 13, 1886.

Note: Sarah Ellen sharp Mowrey was born while her parents, Norman and Martha were traveling with the Mormon Battalion, Company "D" she is listed on the Battalian Roll. She was eight months old. When her dad died (Norman SHARP) her mother married Harley MOWREY. He adopted her. She was 1 year old.
