OBIT:

Thursday, February 6 1908, at 3:15 a.m. at the home of L. Goehring, at 1259 Castle St., Mrs. Xantippe Harker, widow of the late James Harker, aged 76 years. The funeral services will be held at the Goehring residence Saturday afternoon, Feb. 8, at 1:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. F.G. Davies. Interment in Ottumwa Cemetery.

James Harker married Xantippe Lee when he was 22 years old and she was only 15 years old. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Jas. McEwen, grandfather of the bride. The marriage took place at the home of the bride's father and mother.

The funeral servie of the late Mrs. Xantippe Harker,whose death occurred Thursday, was held from the residenceof L. Goehring, 1259 Castle Street today at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. F. G. Davies. Interment was made in Ottumwa Cemetery.
