Mrs. Sarah Woody, 86, a resident of the Reasnor, Iowa vicinity for 80 years, died 12 Sept. 1949 at 2:45 o'clock Monday morning at the home of herdaughter, Miss Hilda Woody, in
Reasnor, Iowa.
Funeral services were held at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Reasnor Methodist church. Rev. Paul Crouse, pastor, officiated. Burial was at the Monroe cemetery.
Marion Weils sang "In the Garden" and the "Lord's Prayer."
Accompanist was Mrs. Isaac Welle. Pall bearers were Will McConeghey, Bert Wasson, Clarence Tool, Will Kirkpatick, Charles Kirkpatrick and Bert Bisom. Mrs. Myrtle Griffis and Mrs. Mable Jones served on the flower committee.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Woody was the daughter of Hogden and Mary Barnes. She was born June 24, 1863, at McKeesport, Pennsylvania, but came to Iowa when she was about six years old.
She was married to Morgan Woody on March 2, 1884, at Monroe, Iowa and they observed their 65th wedding anniversary last March.
Mrs. Woody was a member of the Reasnor Methodist church.
Surviving her are her husband, Morgan; two daughters, Hulda of Reasnor, Iowa and Mrs. Pat (Gail) Metcalf of Reasnor, Iowa; two sons: Ralph Woody and Clifford Woody both of Reasnor, Iowa; one brother, Howard Barnes of Monroe, Iowa; five
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One son, Merrill Woody, preceded his mother in death in 1931.
