Death was attributed to Hodgkins Disease. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Morgan-Loeher Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Franklin conducted the services. Burial was in Palo Alto Cemetery.
Mr. Woody is survived by his wife, Helen; two sisters, Mrs. Pat Metcalf and Hulda Woody, both of Reasnor; a step-daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Lorraine) King of Mercedes, Tex.; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Mr. Woody was a member of the Methodist Church and the Woodmen of the World. The son oof Morgan and Sarah Williams Woody, he was born September 7, 1893, at Reasnor. Educated in Jasper County schools, he was married to Helen Bickel February 15, 1933, at Unionville, Mo. Mr. Woody spent his entire lifetime on the same farm near Reasnor.
