"Mrs Hazel F Bodamer, 93, of 242 Prospect Street, Titusville, died at 9 am Tuesday, Sept 28, 1993, at her residence. She was born in Oil Creek Twp, Crawford County, on Sept 1, 1900, a daughter of the late Willard L and Catherine Sloan Fish. She married Walter C Bodamer on Aug 13, 1921, in Ripley, NY. Mr Bodamer died on Feb 12, 1974. Mrs Bodamer was the last of her immediate family. Her great grandfather donated the land for St Stephens Church. During her working career Mrs Bodamer had been employed by Queen Cutlery and the Silk Mill. During World War II she worked as an inspector at the Struthers Wells Corporation and was later employed by Farley Dry Cleaners and Laundry as manager of their retail store on S Washington St. She was last employed in the gift shop at Drake Well Park. Mrs Bodamer was a lifelong member of St Titus Church. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs G Thomas (Agnes) Dibble of Titusville and Mrs Frank (Anne) Puleo of Oil City; three sons: Walter C 'Bud' Bodamer, Jr, Paul J Bodamer and Willard L 'Butch' Bodamer of Titusville; a grandson: Dominic 'Nick' Bodamer of Cleveland, Oh, whom she raised; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, three daughters died previously: Miss Evelyn Bodamer, Mrs Catherine Fyock and Mrs Beverly Barker; two granddaughters; a brother, Leon Fish; and two sisters: Mrs Dorie Sutton and Mrs Catherine Lester (also died previously). Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am in St Titus Church with Rev James G Gutting, pastor, as celebrant....Interment will be in St Catharine's Cemetery."
