Nellie Alice (Carolyn) Morrow Palmer, 81, of Prescott, AR passed away at her home Monday October 5, 2015 in Prescott, AR.

Mrs. Palmer was born September 27, 1934 in Prescott, AR to Thomas Wesley and
Mary Alma Harris Morrow.

Mrs. Palmer worked for the Senior Commander at the U.S. Air Force Base in England, LA as a civil servant 1957 to 1967. After moving back to Prescott in 1967 she continued her career with the United States Postal Service where she retired as a rural mail carrier.

Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years John E. Palmer, Jr. on January 12, 2015; five sisters: Thelma Morrow Lloyd, Clarice Theobolt, Marie Montgomery, Evelyn Latch, Birdie Lorraine Morrow; two brothers Hubert and Herbert Morrow.

She is survived by two sons, Charles B. Palmer and wife, Bobbie of Jacksonville, Florida and Kenneth R. Palmer of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sister: Joy Rhea Slatton (Lyman) of Delight, AR; seven grandchildren, Janice (Palmer) Neave and husband, Michael of Jacksonville, Florida, Porchea (Palmer) Deaton and husband, Bradley of Lake Village, Arkansas, Charles Brian Palmer, Jr., Madeline Palmer, Joshua Palmer, Kenneth R. Palmer, Jr. and Megan Palmer; three great grandchildren, Aiden Palmer, Piper Neave and Temperance Neave; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
