HERBERT E. MORROW
CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT HERBERT EARLY MORROW, 80, of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010, at his home. He was born December 21, 1929, in Nevada County to Thomas Wesley and Mary Alma Harris Morrow. Mr. Morrow was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star while serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Morrow also retired from the Prescott Housing Authority, where he worked in maintenance. He was a Minister, a member of the Church of God, Sabbath Day, the V.F.W., and a former school bus driver for both Prescott Schools and the Nevada County Day Service Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Hubert Morrow; and five sisters, Thelma Lloyd, Clarice Theobolt, Marie Montgomery, Evelyn Latch, and Bertie Loraine Morrow.
HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: HIS WIFE of 57 years: JoAn Singleton Morrow, Prescott. TWO SONS: John Michael " Mike" Morrow and Sharon, Prescott, Mark Alan Morrow and Christy, Prescott. THREE Daughters: Mary Katherine "Kathy" Buffington and Bill, Edmond, Oklahoma, Pamela "Pam" Diane Morrow, Prescott, Joy "Rae" Lathrop and Jerry "Cowboy", Magnet Cove. TWO SISTERS: Joy Rhea Slatton and Lymon, Delight, Carolyn Palmer and Johnny, Prescott. Nineteen Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2010, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home, Prescott, Ark., with Rev. Wyn Skelton officiating.
