Florence "Florie" Bredbury was the oldest of six children (Florence, Harriet, Susan, Esther Thomas, Fred) born to Joseph Bredbury and Mary Catlow. She was born in 1881 in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire, England. Florie emigrated to Massachusetts in 1889 along with her family when she was eight years old. She died in Andover, MA in 1950. Never married.

Florie along with her sisters, Susan and Esther, lived in a lovely home at 7 Lowell St. in Andover, MA. The three sisters worked in the Lawrence Mills and ultimately opened a bakery shop in Andover near their home next to Shawsheen Square in Andover.

She was a devout follower of the God and spent many hours with her sisters praying for the family, which was well spent time.
