LUCILLE ADAMS HAWKINS:

Lucille Hawkins, 85 years old, of Mexico, died Friday, January 12, 2001 at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.

She was born December 6, 1915, in Callaway County, the daughter of Oscar Lee and Myrtle Craighead Adams. She was married to Mote Stanley "Pat" Hawkins on December 20, 1936. He survives at the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, three sons, three brothers, eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.

A homemaker and lifelong resident of Missouri, Mrs. Hawkins was a member of First Baptist Church in Mexico, where she had served many years A Sunday School teacher.

The funeral will be at 1:30pm, Monday, at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico with Reverend Robert Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Mexico.

Visitation will be from 3-5pm today at the funeral home.

Memorials have been suggested to the First Baptist Church.
