Helen Pompper, age 88, of Lower Alloway's Creek passed away Saturday, September, 19th in Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point.

Born in LAC she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Wible McAllister. Mrs. Pompper was employed as the custodian for the Leisure Arms Complex in LAC before her retirement. She attended Canton Baptist Church and belonged to the Secret Pals. Mrs. Pompper's family was important to her and she enjoyed spending her time with them.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Pompper (Linda) of Mannington and Frank Pompper (Sharon) of LAC; brothers, Lester McAllister of Cohansey and Frank McAllister of Cohansey; sister, Hazel Wilson of Daretown; son-in-law, Wayne Serfass; her grandchildren, Jennifer Finney, Larry Pompper Jr., Heather Pompper, Wayne Serfass, Ryan Pompper and Brad Serfass; great grandchildren, Jonathan, Colin, Larry III and Chase. Mrs. Pompper is predeceased by her husband, Francis "Bud" Pompper; her daughter, Susan Serfass; brothers, Charles, Lewis, Russell and Melvin McAllister; sisters, Anna Howell, Margaret Swing and Bertha Hackett.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 23rd in Canton Baptist Cemetery, 700 Smick Rd., Canton. Arrangements by Woodside Funeral Home 34 Oak St. Salem, NJ 08079.
