Mrs. Minnie Marie Ellington, 73, of 1539 W. Monroe St., died at 3:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Hospital.
She had been a resident of Springfield her entire life.
Mrs. Ellington was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Alfred and John Ellington, both of Springfield; one daughter, Mrs. Eileen Williamson of Uniontown, Pa.; two brothers, Henry and Edward Bachelm [sic], both of Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Hunter, Mrs. Lula Barklow, Mrs. Lottie Lorden and Mrs. Sadie Carroll, all of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
