Lark Ellen "Teddy" Tozier, 96, of Aspen Winds Assisted Living, died September 11, 2015 in Cheyenne, WY. She was born October 23, 1918 in Marion, Louisiana, and had lived 24 years in Cheyenne with prior residence in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Lark Ellen received a Home Economics degree from LSU and an Elementary Education degree from Centenary College. She thoroughly enjoyed teaching in Caddo Parish for 28 years. While living in Cheyenne, Lark Ellen enjoyed attending the retired teachers' luncheons. She was a regular member of Cheyenne Health and Fitness Center and a mall walker prior to living at Aspen Winds.
She is survived by a son, Duane Tozier and wife Patsy of Cheyenne, WY; a daughter, Beverly Harlan and husband Mike of Shreveport, LA; brothers, Tom, Ben, and Don Adams; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Tozier, parents, J.M. and Mary Adams, four brothers and three sisters.
Services for Lark Ellen will be conducted Thursday, September, 17, 2015, 3:00 PM at the graveside in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM Thursday until service time at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
