Johann Heinrich "Henry" LINDERMAN Jr is the first of five children born to Johann Heinrich "Henry" LINDERMAN Sr. and his wife Anna Margretha "Margaret" UHLIN. It is believed that the Johann Heinrich "Henry" LINDERMAN Sr. with their first two children migrated about 1755 into colonial Orange County, North Carolina to settle in one Germany communities. Three more children were added to the family while they resided in Randolph County. Most likely by the end of the Revolutionary War conflicts in North Carolina the parents and some of the children migrated elsewhere.
