Margaret Linderman married Edmund or Edmond York about 1788. They had seven children:

Burgess in 1806,
Margaret aka Peggy in 1789,
Martha in 1806,
Tobias in 1784 &
Eli in 1788,
Lettia in 1792, &
Iram 12 Sep 1802 - 30 Sep 1865) Iram was my 3rd great grandfather.

Edmond's brother Eli's son was Rev. Brantley York who was a minister & teacher that started many schools in the North Carolina area including Union Institute that became Normal College then Trinity College then renamed Duke University when it was moved to Durhan, NC in the 1920;s.

Possible other spouse of Peggy Sharp in 1825.
Information from family ancestry work sheets. No obituary as of this day. Still looking. I am not sure if they were buried in White County or Hamilton Co., IL
