He was formerly employed as a machinist with the American Ship Building Company and was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Lorain.
Surviving are a brother, Raymond E. of Lorain; and a sister, Mrs. John (Esther) Darnell of Norwalk. His wife, Josephine L., died in 1975.
Friends may call today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Reidy-Scanian Funeral Home, Broadway and 21st St., Lorain, where rites will be tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., followed by 10 a.m. Mass at St. John Catholic Church. the Rev. Thomas Rath, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
