WILLIAM EDMOND STEELE, 88, of Blair's Valley, died Friday morning at the Berkeley Springs War Memorial Hospital. Son of the late Samuel and Alberta Viola Durry Steele, he was a retired farmer and had lived all his life in the Blair's Valley area. He was husband of the late Frances Isabel Steele.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary Steele, Blair's Valley; son, Walter Edmond, Rt. 2, Clear Spring; sisters, Mrs. Emma Eggars, Alexandria, Va.; and Mrs. Elsie Krontz, Clear Spring Rt. 2; brother, Fred Sampson, Clear Spring Rt. 2; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Blair's Valley Church of God; burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery, western pike.
