Clalie Zahn
SALEM--Clalie Zahn, 107, formerly of Brillion, Wisc., died at 12:14 p.m. at Essex Care Center.

Born Feb. 8, 1892 in Brillion, Wisc., she was the daughter of Martin and Ida(Timm)Bastian.

Zahn was a homemaker and moved to Ohio in 1992 to be near her nieces, Mrs. Dick(Ruth) Newell of Columbiana and Mrs. Frances Van Pelt of Leetonia. She was a member of Brillion United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death Jan. 20, 1957, by her husband, Raymond Zahn, whom she married May 21, 1921.

Survivors include other nieces and nephews; and three sisters-in-law, Bertha Zahn, Leona Haese, and Adeline Bastian.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Good and Alice Kuecker; and two brothers, Walter Bastian and Arthur Bastian.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion with the Rev. Jeffrey Uehle officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Local arrangements were made by the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana(Ohio).
