Nadine M. Patek
KNOX -- Nadine M. Patek, 73, of Route 5, died at 1 p.m. Thursday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Patek was born Feb. 18, 1911, in Rolla, Mo., and had been an area resident since 1948, coming from Chicago. On June 8, 1948, in Midlothian, Ill., she married John Patek, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Hazel Eilers of Hobart; a son, Lowell Webb of Hobart; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Klinefelter of Kewanna, Mary Hise of Galatia, Ill., and Hazel Howard of Versailles, Ill.; and three brothers, John Stone of Browning, Ill., Bud Stone of Hamlet, and Eugene Stone of Monterey.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. (CST) Saturday in Price & Van Gilder Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
