BLASKO, Ejnar Patrick July 2, 1935 - August 29, 2010 Ejnar Patrick Blasko of Rochfort Bridge, AB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the age of 75 years, after a courageous 13 month battle with cancer. He passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 2, 1935 at the family homestead near Rochfort Bridge. Ejnar is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ilene; his four children Shelley (Jack) Bannister, Brian (Vicki), Bobbie (Collette), and Sheri (Scott) Fielding; his seven grandchildren, Dale, Wendy (Travis), Ben, Kate, Sarah, Elaina, and Arianna; as well as his brother, John Blasko. Ejnar will always be remembered by his many friends, family and neighbors. Ejnar was predeceased by his father and mother, Josef and Agnes Blasko and his three brothers Steve, Joseph and Rudolph. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at St. Agnes Parish, Mayerthorpe. A celebration of Ejnar's Life will follow at the Mayerthorpe Legion. Lunch will be served.
