On January 16, 2003, Joesph Henry Blasko of Mayerthorpe, formerly of Jasper, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Helen, September 01, 2001. He will be forever remembered and loved by his sons and their wives, Larry and Linda of Whitecourt, Garry and Diane of Edson, Gordon of Whitecourt, and Trevor and Andrea of Mayerthorpe; grandchildren, Christopher, Joanne, Joleen, Kevin, Leigh, Graham, Tamara and Brittany; great-grandson, Gregory; brothers, John, and Ejnar (Ilene) both of Mayerthorpe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Joe and Agnes; brother, Stephen and an infant brother. Funeral Service Tuesday, January 21 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Mayerthorpe.
