NORMAN BIRGE

Norman "Thinman" Birge, 67, of Broken Bow passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006 at
Texarkana. He was born September 17, 1938 at Clebit, Oklahoma to William and Elizabeth
Gammon Birge.
Norman retired in 2000 after working for Weyerhauser for 40 years. He was affiliated with the
Calvary Baptist Church in Idabel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Viola, in 2004; and two daughters, Alice Jean
Birge in 1963 and Karen Jean Birge in 1997.
Norman is survived by his son, Dale Birge of Broken Bow; daughter and son-in-law, Misty and
Jacob Tunnell of Broken Bow; sister, Lottie Wynne of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Jacob and
Michael Tunnel of Broken Bow; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Conley-White Chapel in Broken
Bow with Rev. Doug Clements officiating.
Interment will follow in the Broken Bow Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Monday, July 31, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
