A lifetime resident of McCurtain County, Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, fixing things and collecting knives and guitars. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his two nephews who were his life.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Viola Birge; grandparents, William Birge, Elizabeth Gammon Birge, Luther Gee and Flossie Freeman and by his two sisters, Alice Jean Birge and Karen Jean Birge.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister and brother-in-law, two nephews, over 150 family members who loved him very much and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2pm at Bunch-Singleton Chapel.
