Shirley Ann Burt, 70, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 2 P.M., at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Doss officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home. Born August 27, 1944 in Eufaula, Alabama, Mrs. Burt was the daughter of the late Alphus Buck and Mary Emmaline Lucas Jernigan. Mrs. Burt retired from American Buildings after 27 years. She enjoyed her dogs and her flowers. She was preceded in death by her grandson Kevin Suggs. Survivors include her children: Donna (Bill) Starling of Georgetown, GA, Teresa (Kenneth) McDonald of Eufaula, AL, Scotty (Candy) Morris of Eufaula, AL; 7 grandchildren: Taylor Morris, Starla Suggs, Brittany Bynum, Scotty Starling, Joey Starling, Steven Starling, Chris Starling; numerous great grandchildren; 1 sister: Wylena Cutchens of Eufaula, AL; 2 sisters-in-law: Mary Jernigan and Patricia Jernigan. Chapman Funeral Home of Eufaula, AL is in charge of arrangements.
