Wilma Helen Murrell, 99, of Pocahontas, passed away at her home, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Wilma was born on June 8, 1916, in Maynard, Arkansas, to Henry Baxter and Vernon Cate (Gibson) Spencer.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Radus C. Murrell; brothers, Henderson, R.S., Warren G., and Kermit Spencer; sisters, Earlene Meza, Irene Creason, Willie Allene Meeks, and Deloyce Lamb; step-brother, Carl Frier.
Survivors include daughter, Patricia J. (Edward) Mata, of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Kathleen (Bob) Fleming, Kalea (Eric) White, and Kelly James Cress, of Pocahontas, and Kevin (Jean) Cress, and Karen (Harry) Larsen, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; great grandchildren, Jamie Ebersole, Holly Cress, Jake Fox, Erica White, Jared Fox, Emily White, and Elijah White.
Visitation will be held at the Fears Family Funeral Home, on Saturday, August 15, 2015, from 9-10 am; Graveside service to follow, at 10:30 am, on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at the Maynard Cemetery; Jon Fears, officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jake Fox, Elijah White, Eric White, Jared Fox, Bob Fleming, and Scott Rogers.
