Earlene Meza 93, was born in Maynard, Arkansas on March 8, 1921. She entered Heaven's gate on April 18, 2014.
Earlene lived and raised her childred in Jonesboro til 1967, moved to Memphis and moved back to Jonesboro in 1997. Where she resided through her final years. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church of Jonesboro.
She is survived by daughters Paula Orsborn Linder of Jonesboro and Gail Orsborn of CA., grandchildren; Stephanie Holt – Surmon of CA., Greg Holt of Hoxie, Jason Linder of Jonesboro, sister Wilma Murrell of Pocahontas, and brother Carl Fryer of Pocahontas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Baxter Spencer and Vernon Cate Spencer, 1st husband William Orsborn and 2nd husband Jesse Meza, brothers Dock Spencer, Warren Spencer, Henderson Spencer, Kermit Spencer, sisters Irene Creason, Deloris Lamb, and Willie Ailene Meeks.
Services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. with funeral service at 2:00 P.M. with Benny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarrett Cemetery.
