Ira M. Cleveland

Carlisle, Ind. (Special) -- Ira M. Cleveland, 75, died at 3:15 a.m. Friday in Mary Sherman Hospital, Sullivan. He was a retired rural mail carrier, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Indian Prairie Baptist Church, American Legion, Carlisle Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute, Commandery chapters and council of Sullivan, Carlisle Lions Club, and the Retired Letter Carriers Association. Surviving are the widow, Ruth; a son, Charles, Lake Park, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Little, Grande Hills, Calif.; a brother, Paul, Carlisle; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Henderson, Sullivan, and Mrs. Sparkle Ballentine, West Palm Beach, Fla., and five grandchildren. Masonic memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Schulze Funeral Home, with burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday.
