Mrs. Jacob (Isabelle Hartz, 82 , of Fargo Cavalier, Died Friday June 7 in a Fargo Hospital Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Cavalier Presbyterian church. Rev Melvin Wipf officiated and burial was in the Cavalier cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arlo Hendriksen, Thomas Hendriksen, Lloyd Hartz, Emery Hartz, Theodore Schroeder and John Dietrich Jr. Jenson Funeral Home of Cavalier was in charge of arrangements.

The former Isabelle Hearst was born Jan 3 1892 in Tara Ontario, Canada. She came to Neche at the age of 3 and lived at Cavalier until 1945 when they moved to Fargo and lived in Florida during the winter.

She married Jacob Hartz at Neche on July 14, 1920 he died March 7 1972. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Marian Hartz, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Ario (Allison) Hendriksen, Grafton, Four sons Laverne, Lincoln Nebr. Robert, lake city, Minn, Bill Seattle, and Maurice, Mapleton N. Dak and 12 grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
