Mrs. Lugand who was the former Miss Ada Mae Brooks, died Friday, following an extended illness. A member of the Baptist church, she and her late husband were closely associated with the business life of Milledgeville for a number of years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ashley Carr, Warrenton; mother, Mrs. J. H. Brooks. of Milledgeville; four sisters, Mrs. Anne Massey and Mrs. L. G. Lawrence, both of Milledgeville, Mrs. A. D. Holton, Macon, and Mrs. G. J. Jordan, Columbus; and one brother, Z. A. Brooks Columbus.
