Wilmina Van Oort, the daughter of Aaron and Helena (Smitz) Aalbers, was born August 26, 1916 at Orange City, Iowa.

On November 11, 1938, she was mar­ried to Peter Van Oort in Middleburg, Iowa. They lived most of their married life in Sanborn, Iowa. She was a member of the Sanborn Christian Reformed Church and the Ladles Bible Fellowship. Mina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting and will be remembered for making "Grandma's Caramel Corn," a Christ­mas tradition.

She died at Northwest Iowa Health Center in Sheldon, Iowa on October 25, 1998 at the age of 82 years, one month and 29 days.

She is survived by her husband, Pe­ter; five children: Joy and her husband, Jim Van Dyke of Sanborn, Audrey and her husband Alvin Kelderman of Doon, Ia., Harv and his wife, Gloria Van Oort of Sanborn, Ken and his wife, Natalee Van Oort of Rock Valley, Ia., daughter Donna and her husband Charles Infinger of Charleston, S.C.; 22grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Van Veldhuizen of Sanborn, and a host of other rela­tives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Johanna Reefle; two grandsons: Lyle Kelderman, and Travis Van Oort; and great-granddaughter, Paige Van Oort.

Funeral services were held October 27 at the Christian Reformed Church in Sanborn with Rev. Dale Fopma officiat­ing.Casket bearers were Randy Van Dyke,Gaylen Kelderman, Keith Van Oort,Nathan Van Oort Greg Mullins and Randy Lyman. Honorary bearers were Rick, Rob. and Ryan Van Dyke, Jeff,Leon and Todd Kelderman, David,Steven. Daryl and Chad Van Oort, Ja­son Mulllns, Christian and Corey Infinger. Burial was In Roseland Cemetery.Sanborn, with the Sanborn Funeral Home in charge.
