Will Morton, of San Diego, California
died suddenly at his home yesterday
morning. He had been in poor health,
but was thought to be improving. He
was 53 years of age. The body was
cremated and the remains brought to
Frankfort for burial next to his mother
in Frankfort Cemetery.
Mr. Morton was a resident of Frankfort
for many years and was the editor of the
only paper ever published at Vliets,
Kansas. Later he traveled extensively and
held a government position in the
Philippine Islands, but during the past
number of years he has made his home
in California.
