Margaret Tweed Church, 69, of Snapps Ferry Park, Greeneville, passed away
She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Church was retired.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: David and Lisa Church of Greeneville; three grandchildren: Ryan Carver, David "Brock" Church and Taylor Ann Church, all of Greeneville; a brother and sister-in-law: Roger Junior and Mildred Tweed of Mascot; five nephews and seven nieces; three great-grandkids: Hayden Chase Church, Rylan Carver and Jaxson Carver, all of Greeneville; special friends: Tiffany Lowe, Hilda Shelton and Brenda Sharp; and two special dogs: Tay Shaun Prince and Coco, who were her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Odes and Mable Lamb Tweed; three brothers and one sister-in-law: James and Brenda Davis Tweed, Leonard Tweed and Jackie Tweed; three sisters: Thelma Gay Minnick, Peggy Bales and Fannie May Tweed; her very special adopted Mom: Vera Lee Dixon of Greeneville and her family; and a special adopted Dad: William David "Red" Shelton and family.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. David Dugger will officiate.
Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to Houston Memorial Cemetery for an 11 a.m. interment.
