Died: March 16, 1996
Mable Tweed Cole, 72, of
Viking Mountain Road, died Sat-
urday morning at her home.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include a daughter
and son-in-law: Margaret and Ed
Church of Greeneville; three sons
and two daughters-in-law: James
and Brenda Tweed of Knoxville,
Junior Tweed of Knoxville, and
Leonard and Darlene Tweed of
Greeneville; nine grandchildren;
14 great-grandchildren; two sis-
ters: Vernie Miller of Greeneville,
and Nettie Rice of Chuckey; a
special friend: Patsy Rice of
Greeneville; several nieces and
nephews.
She was a daughter of the late
Jim and Fannie Mae West Lamb
and was preceded in death by two
husbands: Charles O. Tweed and
Carl Hack Cutshall; three daugh-
ters: Fannie Mae Tweed, Thelma
Gay Minnick, and Peggy Tweed; a
son: Jackie Tweed; three sisters;
and a brother.

The family received friends
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at
Kiser Funeral Home.
The body will be taken to the
home at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
The funeral service will be held
at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Upper Paint
Creek Church of God with inter-
ment in Houston Memorial
Cemetery. The Rev. Leonard Cut-
shaw will officiate.
Pallbearers will be D.C. Rice,
Eugene Rice, Ronnie Cutshaw,
Bobby Cutshaw. Eddie Tweed, and
Freddie Tweed
