Mrs. Laura Ard, 89, a resident of Foley died Sunday, July 17 in a local nursing home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 19, at 2 p.m. from the Foley Church of Christ with the Rev. Earl Godwin officiating. Interment followed in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Vaughn Underwood, Foley, Mrs. Leslie Potter, Foley, and Mrs. Vonray Hicks, Foley, one son, Luther Ard, Foley, four sisters, Mrs. Rachel Ware Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Esther Rigdon, Vmatilla, Fla., Mrs. Nellie Kenny, Vmatilla, Fla and Mrs. Hazel Holton, Vmatilla, Fla., eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
