She was born on Feb. 28, 1932 in Tucumcari.
Mrs. Rico is survived by her daughters, Rachael (Alex) Hendren of Albuque rque; Henrietta (Henry) Hernandez of Chino, Calif.; Connie (Alex) Shotkoski, of Chino; and sons, Leo Martinez and Vincent Salazar, both of Chino. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Martinez of Chino and Martina Shoemaker of New Mexico; and brothers, Raymond and Fidel, both of Tucumcari. Mrs. Rico is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rico was preceded in death by son Jerry Barreras; sisters Margarita Macias of Tucumcari; Mary Salazar of Chino; and a brother Manuel Chavez of Tucumcari.
Burial will be at Tucumcari Memorial Park.
